Q: Do you have a football, baseball, or soccer league for children?
A: These sports are organized by several different Youth Organizations in our towns. The Recreation staff can provide you with these phone numbers.

Q: How do I become a resident member of the Golf and Pool Complex?
A: You must come to the Permit Office, also located at the Country Club, to obtain a Golf and Pool Permit Card. You must show proof of residency.

Q: I want to reserve: a campsite at Short Beach... a picnic at a town park..., etc.
A: The Recreation Office issues permits for field use. All picnic and beach permits are issued by the Parks Department.

Q: What are Recreation’s business hours?
A: The Recreation Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The office is closed on weekends and holidays.

This card is good for two years and must be presented each time you use the Golf and/or Pool facilities. It entitles you to resident discounts on Golf and Pool fees. You may bring non-member guests for an additional fee.

Q: When and where can I get the Annual Program Guide?
A: Recreation’s Annual Program Guide is mailed to all residents in early May, and contains program information for all summer activities, along with fall and winter events. You can download the Program Guide from this website. Printed copies of the guide are available at all Smithtown Library branches, Town Hall and the Recreation Office.

A: The pool season begins the first day of summer and continues through Labor Day.
