The Smithtown Senior Citizens Department is hosting an informational meeting reviewing the New York State EPIC Prescription Protection program for Seniors. This program was recently expanded so that many more seniors can join with lowered fees and co-payments. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2010 at 11 am at

The Smithtown Senior Citizens Department is hosting a "Brown Bag Drug Interaction Program". Dan Lewis, Registered Pharmacist from Walgreens of Smithtown will discuss drug interactions encompassing both prescription and non-prescription medications. Participants should bring all medication bottles with them to the program - just throw them in a brown bag!
