New CNG Powered Garbage Trucks Hit the Streets 01/08/07
	Monday, January 8, 2007 @ 6:40 AM Town of Smithtown   Twenty-two new compressed natural gas (CNG) garbage collection vehicles hit the streets in Smithtown on January 2, 2007. The Town of Smithtown is the first municipality in New York State to require contracted garbage carters to use only vehicles that run on compressed natural gas. Town Dedicates Memorial Park 07/18/05
	Monday, July 18, 2005 @ 3:45 PM Town of Smithtown   The Town of Smithtown recently completed a September 11, 2001 Memorial Park. The park is dedicated to the memories of the fifty-two victims of the terrorist attacks that were from or had families residing in the Township of Smithtown.
